With a genuine passion for inking and watercolours, she's not only an author, illustrator, and art teacher, but also a seasoned artist whose touch has left its mark on fabrics and even the theatrical stage. Alyssa's knack for capturing the world around her through sketches has been honed over many years. Her speed, vast experience, and drawing confidence come together to make her your ideal event illustrator.
Capturing the scene
I offer reportage-style illustrations —quick, expressive sketches that capture the atmosphere and energy of your wedding in real time. Within the 6-hour window, I can create 4-5 A4-A3 sized scenic drawings, telling the story of your special day through artwork. These can include:

A beautifully set reception table
Any other special moment you’d love illustrated
Guest Portraits
The live portrait session is a 6-hour window, dedicated to creating hand-inked and watercolour guest portraits at your wedding.
Live Wedding Guest Portraits – $1,400
Includes 6 hours of live sketching (6-10 min per guest)
Typically captures 30–50 guest portraits, depending on the style:
30 portraits: More detailed face portraits.
40 portraits: Small full-body sketches with minimal facial details.
50 portraits: Very simple figures without faces or extra detail.
Additional portraits can be ordered post-wedding
Pricing & Availability
The cost is $1400 for a 6 hour session.
Expect 4-5 illustrations including a more detailed Ceremony scene. All illustrations are completed on site and handed over that day.
An additional set of guest portraits can be purchased afterwards as required. 30-50 people can receive their portraits within the 6 hour session.
All materials used are of archival quality.
Looking for that extra touch? Custom stationery can be designed for an additional cost.
For locations situated beyond a 45-minute radius of Hobart, there's a round trip charge of $60 per hour.
